After over twenty years Judy and I have made the decision to downsize to a level we can maintain and still enjoy family, travel, friends and other interests. As we do this we are assisting others to become involved in the care of one of God's most fantastic creatures, the alpaca.
To do this we have ensured our alpaca family members were rehomed to loving and care giving people. We do plan to move about seven of our old guys to our new home with us. Seven...hard to believe that a few short years ago we had a triving herd of over ninety alpacas.
Our beautiful farm of 72 acres was split into three parcels, two of which have already sold. The remaining 32 acres and our wonderful home is what remains. The family that purchases this parcel will be buying a house full of memories and a place they will be able to enjoy as home for many years of new improved memories of their own.
When Judy and I first became the owners of our farm, Walnut Knoll, we were sure we had been led there by Devine grace. Now after these twenty odd years we are sure that we were.
